Resources

Design Test Briefs

As part of our commitment to promoting education in the games industry, Rebellion is building a range of resources to help individuals and education institutions develop their skills and knowledge for a variety of key stages. These resources include sample briefs and design tests, which provide a glimpse into the types of challenges that game developers face on a daily basis.

By working through these briefs, individuals can gain valuable experience and develop their skills, as well as gaining a portfolio piece, and would be particularly useful for graduates who want to work at Rebellion.

Dare Academy Mentorship & Judging

Dare academy contestants

Rebellion is proud to have been a part of Abertay University's DARE Academy contest since 2019, where we serve as mentors and judges for aspiring game developers.

As mentors, we provide guidance and support to students throughout the development process, offering feedback and sharing our experiences and insights into the industry. As judges, we have the honour of evaluating the work of these talented students and providing feedback that can help them grow as game developers. We are always impressed by the creativity and passion that these students bring to their work.
